Process Description Compressor Package Flow

1. Gas Inlet Suction System

  • Gas enters through a suction scrubber or KO drum
  • Liquids, condensates, and contaminants are removed before compression

2. Compression Stage

  • Gas is compressed using reciprocating, centrifugal, or screw compressors
  • Pressure is increased to the required operating level 

3. Cooling System

  • Gas passes through aftercoolers and intercoolers
  • Gas temperature is reduced to improve efficiency and protect downstream systems  

4. Separation Stage
